The series of Posters are about the typeface Gill sans. They communicate information about the typeface, about its history, characteristics, usage and technical aspects. The first posters shows the history of Gill Sans, the ‘Helvetica of England’. The second shows the special characteristics of the typeface. The third describes the usages, the weights and a few problems with the typeface while showing its construction. The overall form and colours are derived from the L.N.E.R. and London underground system.
